Lush - Mini Haul

I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas! I've very much had a very over indulgent few days and as you may have noticed, a few days away from blogging.
So I'm back and I thought I'd share with you my mini Lush Haul!

I love Lush, I don't go in very often but when I do I always get an old faithful and try to pick a new product I haven't used before.
As I don't have baths - I opt for showers but there are a few bits and pieces I like to try!

My first product was the Cupcake face mask. I'm not blessed with lovely skin, at 25 I still have the skin of a 15 year old and I'm super prone to breakouts, so this little beauty sounded like the one for me!

The package says it's made with Rhassoul mud, fresh mint, linseed and cocoa butter. It's meant to deep cleanse, soften and tone! It's meant to be great for teenage skin and can help stop breakouts. Lovely!

This face mask has to be kept in the fridge, so I got it out of the fridge, cleaned my face and slapped it on.
First thing I noticed was it was a gorgeous thick consistency which went on easily and smelt delicious! It did however look like I had put a load of Nutella on my face and my husband found this amusing.

You leave the mask on for 10-15 mins and then wash it off. The thing I noticed while washing it off was the fact my entire bathroom started to smell of peppermint! It was so yummy!
The results were my face feeling super smooth, soft & cared for! It even helped reduce the redness I get.
Overall I've got loads of the mask left and it's one I will be buying again! I love the smell and how it's made my skin feel. My makeup went on really smoothly this morning and even now a full 24 hours later my skin still feels super soft.

The next thing I got was the Sugar Scrub. This is my all time fave Lush product, I always purchase it when I pop into a store!

It's a gorgeous exfoliating shower scrub which is a mix of sugar, grated ginger and fresh fennel. It brightens, buffs, exfoliates and boosts circulation!
The only thing I will say is you need to get it wet otherwise it will literally rip your skin to pieces! Once you've got it to a malleable state this is the product of dreams.
It always leaves my skin feeling amazing and I love using it before fake tanning etc.

What's your fave Lush product?
I'm going to be purchasing a few more bits next week & would love suggestions!

Until next time,
Becca

  1. Love their Cupcake face mask when my skin decides to breakout. Definitely helps with the redness.
