Rimmel Provocalips Review

I know this is well and truly old now but I got Kiss Me You Fool in Provocalips for Christmas and thought I'd put it to the test!

Now for those of you who haven't heard about Provovalips it's a 16hour kiss proof lip color that is a two part application. It's supposed to be kiss proof, transfer proof, food proof and isn't meant to dry your lips out.

You apply the color first and allow to dry for 1min then apply the clear topcoat to lock in the colour.

Top Left: The application, this was it fresh on my mouth. Full coverage.
Top Right: After toast & a cup of tea. Still perfect had been on around an hour here.
Bottom Left: After dinner & lunch and a few drinks. Had been on around 12 hours by this point.
Bottom Right: Before removal. This was what it looked like just before I took it off for bed. It had been on around 15 hours.

So as you can see, it does last but no where near the 16 hours as it says. It also says you need to remove it with an oil based makeup remover - I don't use oil based products so found it was still well and truly on my pout around the edges in the morning!

Overall this is a perfect lippy for an evening out where you can relax and not worry about touching your lippy up every 5 mins but it doesn't last the 16 hours!

Have you tried any of the Provocalip range? What did you think?
Until next time,
