I've been super ill this weekend with some flu type bug but I received my goodies from Facetheory about a week ago now and even through the illness I've been keeping up with my face routine and I'm here today to tell you all about it!
Facetheory is a brand new company offering an entire face routine in 3 easy steps. You simply fill in a quick questionnaire about your skin and they tell you what products would benefit you most.
I received the exfoliating cleanser for combination/oily skin unscented, sensitive toning mist for sensitive/oily skin in unscented and supergel moisturiser for oily skin in unscented.
First of all it arrived in a gorgeous box with branded tissue paper and an offer for 20% any future purchase.
I then come on to the products themselves.
I found the packaging to be really nice. I like the fact each product has a different colour on the bottle and it has a little square telling you what step is what.
In this routine you start with the cleanser. You simply use it like any other cleanser to be fair. I did however fall in love with this one. It's a gorgeous consistency and has lots of tiny beads to help exfoliate your face.
Unlike a few other cleansers I've used this one is really gentle and even if I did give my face a good old massage, it didn't hurt, didn't feel abrasive and comes off like a dream. My face feels super smooth and clean once I've used it.
The next step is toning. You simply spray this blemish reducing vitamin rich formula onto a cotton pad and sweep it over your face and neck to help protect and tighten the skin. It also helps reduce pores and blemishes.
I like to feel like a product is working and after I used this toner I always feel like it's done something! My face feels tighter and it doesn't irritate my skin!
The final step is the supergel moisturiser.
I can only sing this one's praises. I love it. Plain and simple!
It's light and airy and almost feels like a mousse. A little goes a long way and it leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated.
I've been having issues with moisturisers recently as I've had an allergic reaction to one I've been using for a few months so I'm super pleased to have found one my skin likes and actually works.
Overall I'd highly recommend the Facetheory range and I will definitely be purchasing from them when I run out.
I love the fact all the products are unscented. I don't think there's anything worse than highly fragrances products that go on your face! I also love that each product I feel has made a difference to my skin and after 5 days of use I can already see a difference. My skin is brighter, clearer and more even.
On the downside I have found the packaging to be a little hard to use. The pumps are a bit stiff which makes it harder when your hands are wet to get any product out of the bottle.
Oh did I mention that all Facetheory products are paraben free and not tested on animals too?

The supergel moisturiser sounds particularly great. I have makeup that goes on like a mousse and it feels gorgeous on the skin
ReplyDeleteThey sound like three lovely products, and the packaging is simple and stylish too.

I have never used Facetheory products, but I have dry/sensitive skin so would benefit from using products without so much fragrance as you say. I will look them up!
ReplyDeleteNice review :)
