Disneyland Paris

I've seen so many people who are jetting off to Disneyland Paris this year and I just had to share the adventures I had when I went.
I went almost 3 years ago (where does the time go?!) for my honeymoon because like Peter Pan, I'll simply never grow up...

I went to Disneyland on the 14th October 2012 and it rained, the entire time. Like constantly and it was bloody freezing. Did I enjoy it regardless? Hell yeah!

We stayed at the nautical themed Newport Bay Club which was about a 15 min walk to the park. We upgraded our room to the admiral floor, which I don't know if I'd bother doing again! It was a large room but you didn't really get anything else for the extra money!
We also upgraded to half board so we got vouchers for restaurants in the park which I'm really glad we did, eating in Disneyland is really, really expensive!

I've been to the Orlando Disneyland and I must admit it is a lot better. You still get the Disney magic don't get me wrong but it just simply doesn't have anything on the massive Orlando one!
We also spent a fair amount of our spending money on yummy cocktails at the hotel bar & going to Buffalo Bills Wild West Show, all of which was totally worth it.

I also discovered after this trip, I am no longer made for rollercoasters. I casually decided it would be fine to go on Space Mountain as loads of kids were getting on. I had a panic attack on the ride and had to have a sit down once I got off the other end, haha!

There is so much to see and do that even the small (far less scary) rides are worth going on! I loved walking around the park and finding bits and pieces like the door from Monsters Inc and the cars from Toy Story!

As we went in October, the park was gearing up for Halloween (yay!) so the whole park was coated with Mickey Mouse shaped pumpkins and scary decorations to match. I'd deffo go back during a holiday as the decorations are amazing, I even got to meet Jack Skellington & Sally which totally made my trip! I'd love to go back at Christmas!

So if your thinking about going, I'd say do it!
It's amazing even though it's quiet expensive for what it is! With all this said I can't wait to go back and will hopefully be planning a trip very soon!

Until next time,
Becca
