Thrift Store Shopping

While I was in Florida, I just knew I had to hit up a thrift store. I did manage to get the whole way around without singing Macklemore too!

Goodwill Thrift Store

I must admit I love looking at charity shops here in the UK as sometimes you can get some awesome things however they are no comparison for the USA version!
I wasn't really sure what to expect to be honest, I knew there would be clothes and household goods but I was over whelmed by the sheer volume. Row after row of clothes, books, toys, vases, games, you name it!

I was most surprised by the prices too, there were designer items as well as more affordable brands all for the same price. I can really see why people love going in!

I was really surprised by the amount of homeware available in the store. From as little as $1 you can pick up plates, glasses, vases, decorative items, signs, games and bags of mixed items.

It was a bit of a mess, well okay it was mental. Stuff literally everywhere and sadly I didn't buy anything due to bringing it back to the UK and the weight limits but I'm so pleased I went. If you ever go to the US make sure to check one out, you'll never know what you might find!

Until next time,

  1. Thrift stores make our charity shops look like complete rubbish! I don't think i'd have been able to restrain myself going round though x

  2. This is one of my favourite things to do when I am in the states. Trouble is, I need an extra suitcase to bring it all home haha.

  3. Wow that's insane! Looks like a great experience. If we ever make it to the US we'll definitely check out a thrift store, or two! :) x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x
