I've always wanted to start a scrapbook, I never really had a reason too and didn't want loads of half finished ones floating about my house. I love the idea of having a book that keeps all my memories and looks cute so it only seemed right to make one about my trip to Florida!
As you can imagine I spent hours on Pinterest looking up gorgeous books and mine is no where near finished. Honestly I don't know if it even will be truly finished but it's really nice to have a hobby I can dip in and out of when I fancy being a bit crafty and relive the memories all over again!
Each page has a theme or a day out, such as my flights including a photo of the meal, tickets and even our car parking ticket at Gatwick. I tried to keep as much from my trip as possible as I didn't know how I was going to use them but I wanted to have choices.
This page was from our day at Universal Studios. There's three in total but I wanted to include the map so I picked up two while I was there and used various parts of it. We wanted to include some personal photos such as these we took in front of a big screen. We've also got a whole other page that has photos of us with characters such as Scooby Doo and the Simpsons!
Scrapbooking about Disney is awesome. We kept so much stuff including receipts, napkins from meals and pressed pennies. We even kept our awesome Disney tickets. I'm on the hunt for some awesome stickers and washi tapes to finish these pages off but haven't found anything I think is a perfect match yet.
There are some more random pages such as this one. It contains two photos of posters we adored in Disney along with loads of paint swatches of Disney colours we found in Walmart. I wasn't really sure what to do with them but I knew they had to go in the book as we were so excited when we found them!
As you can see, it's far from finished but I love having such a physical memory of our amazing holiday!
Have you scrapbooked?
Until next time,
