As you may have been aware after moving down to Kent, I got involved with organising a fashion show to help promote local business's and designers. Well after months and months of planning Saturday 20th August it all happened! I'm pleased to announce that the Herne Bay Fashion Show was a success!

The day started for me at half 10. We got there just as the stage and stalls were being put up and we had to start prepping for the strawberries and cream we were going to be handing out. 25 punnets of strawberry cutting later, we were ready to head back outside and get going!
I think that's when the nerves started to kick in. As people, shop owners and models started to arrive just what we'd gotten ourselves into started to become oh so very real!
I can honestly say I'd never of done anything like this back in London and I'm so pleased I took myself out of my comfort zone and sent one email 5 months ago. One email to The Friends Of The Clock Tower and next thing I knew I'd met Jo and agreed to help out!

The day was a total success with everyone making amazing effort, the dance group Method To Madness entertaining people between shop changes and despite a few very short rainy showers we had a really good crowd who stuck around for the duration!
