Turtle Wax With Halfords

If you've been around my blog for any amount of time you've probably seen my love for cars. I'm a complete and utter petrol head and in just 9 years of driving I've owned around 16 cars. From the more mundane Micra to the Japanese import Celica, I've had a fair few. So when I got the opportunity to try the new Turtle Wax range, it was inevitable it was going to end up on my blog.

Now before I start I'd love to say the surprise and humour all these goodies from Turtle Wax brought to my house hold. A massive box arrived with a very wobbly kneed postman who commented how heavy the box was and a mammoth 15 bottles and tubs came out from the depths of the said box.

I got everything from waterless washes to leather cleaner and alloy cleaner to showroom shine. I probably won't run out of car cleaning products for at least a year!

I must admit I'm terrible at washing my car, I usually just take it somewhere and let someone else do it as it always takes me forever but I decided to see if I could save myself a few quid and do it myself!

I started with my alloys 'cause to be frank they were rank. I've done a lot of motorway miles in the last few weeks and my car looks like it has.

Turtle Wax All Wheel Cleaner Before

I used the Turtle Wax All Wheel Cleaner and it was pretty straight forward, wet the wheels, spray it on, leave for a few mins so the product goes red when in contact with break dust and then wipe it off.

They came out looking lovely, without too much effort, so definite thumbs up from me!

Turtle Wax All Wheel Cleaner After

I got sent a lot of products, so I tested as many as I could in one wash. I used the Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover, Clearvue Glass Cleaner, Wet 'N' Black and the Carnuba Car Wax.

The Bug and Tar Remover worked like a dream, making what is usually a pretty grim part of car washing super easy and quick. Just spray it on, leave it for a minute then wipe it off for a lovely bug free car, huzzar!

Clearvue Glass Cleaner has been a bit of a personal fave with me, it makes any glass on your car look utterly flawless, it's a finish I adore and I only wish I'd known about the product sooner!
Wet 'N' Black does exactly what it says on the tub. Gorgeously glossy, jet black, brand new looking tyres in next to no time at all. Super happy with the results!
Carnuba Car Wax, well hello gloss! My car is now sitting outside gleaming like it's had a whole new paint job. Unfortunately waxing is always a time consuming task and this is no different but it's worth the effort.

I'll update this review with all the products I use as I use them, as I'm planning on using the Scratch Repair Kit shortly for a few fine scratches! Overall though I'm pretty impressed with the range of items I was sent.
