Rock 'N' Roll, Opals & Tiffany

I'm sitting here listening to Blink 182, writing blog posts and taking photos of my current favourite accessories. I didn't think in a million years I'd be bringing back some of the jewellery I wore nearly 10 years ago but if I've learnt anything this year it's that I'm learning more about myself than ever. While I have a weekend ahead full of blogging goodness, I thought I'd share some of my favourite jewellery and accessories that I wear.

I used to be SUCH a big accessories girl. I always had multiple rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets on but I got lazy and it wasn't really appropriate at work. Well recently that's all changed. I've dug through my jewelry box and dug out some old favourites as well as some new lovelies too.

I think the summer months and warmer weather always bring out the fashion blogger in me. In the winter I live in skinny jeans, boots and jumpers which hardly makes fab OOTD posts but as the longer evenings start kicking in, I dig out the summer wardrobe and start to use my clothes to express myself more.

I've found a new obsession with 'swing' earrings, as well as those statement ones. I've got three piercings in each ear which can make bigger earrings more difficult to wear but I always come back to my favourite Opal studs and my beautiful Tiffany & Co return to sender hearts that I picked up in Florida for my 26th birthday.

I've been wearing more of my alternative ones recently too. My black cross earrings, my black chokers and huge precious stone rings mixed with various midi rings, stacks and confetti filled beauties. I always wear my wedding ring, black diamond engagement ring and my Bloody Mary Metal stack but there's something I adore about the creativeness of multiple rings, in all various shapes and sizes.

I don't often wear hair accessories, I might don the odd bandana on those Rockabilly hair days but generally I keep it simple. I couldn't help but dig this beauty out though, my pink glitter rock hairclip. I used to wear this in my backcombed within an inch of it's life hair back in my extreme Glam Metal days. I did also have a matching one that said Roll but alas years of hairspray abuse killed  it off. Boo.

I'm back in love with accessories again, so keep an eye out for my planned OOTD posts coming very soon. You'll probably see more of these beauties at some point as I have so many ideas!

Do you have a favourite accessory?

Until next time,

  1. I used to be so obsessed with always wearing earrings but stopped recently, however the bottom ones are so cute - I just love them!

  2. What lovely little jewellery pieces you've got there. Earrings are my obsession!

  4. Awesome collection! Love the Rock hair clip. I go through stages of accessories. At the minute not much as Rowan is painful with it :-(
