AD: My Cinema Experience With Vue

Everyone loves going to the cinema right? There's something about absent mindedly chucking popcorn at your face while you submerge into another world isn't there? As it goes I'm not the biggest movie fan so it's a rare occasion that I do go watch a movie but when I do, I want it to be a treat.

AD: My Cinema Experience With Vue

I was given two VIP tickets to Vue at Westwood Cross in Broadstairs along with some very lovely treats to go with it. I know you're dying to know what film I picked and you'll not be surprised to know it was Dumbo! Tim Burton & Disney, it's a win win situation for me! The Vue is situated at Westwood Cross, a large shopping center in our area and it's a fab addition with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, it's a really good location to make a proper event out of going to the cinema. I have to drive to this location as I live a good 10 miles away but even with it being the Easter half term, there was loads of parking right outside (and it's free!) so I had no pre-movie parking stress.

So I was booked in on Wednesday night to see Dumbo at the 6.40pm viewing. On arrival I headed to the counter and was given my VIP tickets by a super friendly member of staff who then told us about our food choices. As I mentioned earlier as well as two VIP seats I was also given some treats to go with it, these were two Combo Deals. There was a fantastic selection from sweets and chocolate to nachos and hotdogs and who can forget the Tango?! I took my husband along and we both picked the popcorn and drink combo (hubby also decided on a hot dog) and we both got our drinks from the Coke Freestyle, hello Vanilla Pepsi Max!

We headed to screen 8, just one of 10 screens and 1,629 seats at this Vue and went to find our seats. The VIP seats not only have loads of extra legroom, seat room and are in their own perfect viewing area at the back but they are super comfortable so I spent more time watching the movie than shuffling around with dead legs. As the VIP area is at the back of the room there's no distractions when people walk past or get up in the middle of a film. Vue offer the best in seating, screen and sound and Vue Entertainment are a leader in out-of-home entertainment and big screen experience. It was really nice to be able to kick back and relax especially as I'm a busy mum.

Vue VIP Seats

The film! I won't ruin it for those of you who haven't seen it yet but let's just say you won't be disappointed. Oh, and it still has some seriously sad moments.. Disney and Tim Burton did not disappoint and I can't wait to go back and see it again. The picture was perfect and sound quality throughout was amazing. Even with it being a busy during the Easter holidays, the experience was fantastic!

Vue Food

Overall I really enjoyed one of my rare nights out to the cinema and with tickets at Vue being just £4.99, I'm definitely going to be making more of an effort to see films on the big screen. Long gone are the days when a cinema trip could cost you £50 before you've even sat in your seat! I've also just discovered Vue offer a Mini Morning viewing at 10.30am especially for children at just £2.49 a seat! My son hasn't been to the cinema yet but after my fantastic experience I can't wait to take him too. I even had the added bonus of every member of staff I met during my visit was lovely, which really added to the whole overall experience!
So on that note I'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Vue who made our experience a great one and we will be returning very, very soon.
